To claim that the Qur’an is insufficient, that it has flaws, or that humanity must decipher it to make it usable, is almost like denying Allah’s knowledge and perfection. Allah is Al-Baqir, the One who knows what has come and what is yet to come. He created this Book fully aware of everything that would happen after it, including mankind’s tendency to follow their own interpretations or even create parallel teachings. The Qur’an was revealed as complete, just, and timeless. Yet, many men today quote hadith as if it is the only source of guidance, often ignoring the Qur’an’s clear emphasis on justice, equality, and mercy. This is especially concerning when we consider that falsified or misogynistic hadith have historically been used to justify oppression. There are Muslim men globally who, instead of speaking against real injustice such as the abuse of women in Sudan and elsewhere use these narrations to justify harmful behavior. When we read hadith stating that women are deficient in intelligence, created from a rib, or that their testimony counts for half a man’s, it is easy to see the impact on the male ego. These ideas inflate pride and create a sense of superiority. If someone genuinely believes another is “below” them, respect becomes impossible. This is one reason why many men struggle to respect women, and why the rejection of hadith in favor of the Qur’an has become necessary for many. The truth is, hadith science is not as precise as it is often portrayed. Ordinary men collected these narrations centuries after the Prophet ﷺ passed. After his death, there was widespread confusion. Societies with long-standing cultural norms were being introduced to Islam, and people naturally adapted the teachings to fit the political, social, and cultural climates of their time. Humans adapt. They alter, interpret, and adjust religious texts to avoid conflict and to maintain stability. This historical reality explains why so many narrations exist that contradict the Qur’an’s message of justice and equality. Rejecting hadith in favor of the Qur’an is not rejection of faith it is a call to return to the timeless, complete guidance that Allah provided. It is a commitment to justice, clarity, and truth in a world that has often twisted human interpretations for power, control, and ego. #quran #hadith #islamictiktok #misogynistic #thetruth
