it is an older truck but doubt it is a 24 volt system, should have looke for an sp switch first

if you run a series it's still 12 volts why would you want to make 24 volts on a 12 volt system

witnessed once to vechile engine locked up / turned the key / engaged starter (starter didn't rotate) , battery exploded , BATTERY EXPLODED 😳
