@constellationinspiration: a charlie brown christmas gingerbread skating rink! ❄️ i was feeling ambitious this year and wanted to make a scene from a holiday movie i grew up watching — a charlie brown christmas. the skating scene will forever be my favourite so here is my take on it, but made entirely of gingerbread and sugar! the platform is made of gingerbread while the "ice" and sky panels are made of poured isomalt. the ice is below the surface panel (which allows it to move freely) and sits on a little spinner so the peanuts gang can do some skating on the rink. everything else is gingerbread and royal icing. i talk more about the process in a new blog post. link is in my bio!! #holidaybaking #christmascookies #gingerbread #gingerbreadhouse #snoopy
