Tuck your pant legs into your sock. 🕷️ Pre-treat your hiking shoes and outer clothing with Permethrin. Use a natural insect repellent on your skin. 🕷️ Pull back long hair. Cover your head with a hat. 🕷️ Apply insect repellent. 🕷️ Stay on trails and avoiding tall grass or brush while hiking. 🕷️ When you get back to the car use a lint roller to remove in potential ticks, and then do a thorough check remembering to check all warm crevices of your body that ticks tent to gravitate to. Ticks can be as small as a pin prick so look closely. 🕷️ Take a hot shower when your get home. 🕷️ Tick Removal: If you find a tick quickly remove it with tweezers or a tick-removal tool by gently pulling straight up with steady pressure.
