These will fatigue the muscle faster by eliminating rest by either dropping to a lower weight and continuing to do the exercise or switching to another exercise that keeps hitting the muscle. 2. Have a plan. Instead of coming in and saying I'll just look around and pick something, you should know what you are going to do. This eliminates time spent thinking and looking around the gym while also keeping you consistent for progressive overload. 3. Use High Intensity cardio like sprinting for a short distance or timed amounts of burpees compared to running on a treadmill for 30 mins. 10 mins of sprinting or burpees will be more productive.
