@carlito.md: I made time between commercial shoots a few weeks ago to film this spec video using a human eye model. Leave it to me to amalgamate the realms of medicine/science, cinematography and robotics 🦾. See below appropriate descriptions 👇🏽 For the cine/MoCo peeps: Shot as a multi-pass with @motorizedprecision MIA robot and turntable; @dzofilm Gnosis 32mm on a Sony Venice 2. Cropped for IG reels. See previous reel for BTS. For the med peeps: I envisioned creating a video as a teaching resource that could show several “anatomical layers” and their relation in 3D space. I chose the eye lens as the subject because it’s a structure behind the cornea and the iris and inside the globe of the eye itself. This would allow me to create a video where the layers of the eye could be removed to expose the lens. The sclera with rectus muscles’ insertions dissapear first, exposing the vascular choroid and the iris in front; which in turn dissapear to expose the lens behind the cornea and iris, held in place by ciliary bodies and suspensory ligaments. With enough time and effort, a lot more structures could be labeled. Fun stuff! #eyeanatomy #anatomy #anatomylesson #anatomyandphysiology #anatomyclass #anatomypractice
