For the longest time, I had people trying to tell me how to act, how to speak, how to be. And somewhere along the way, I started to dim my own light. It felt wrong - but I didn’t have the confidence to stand tall in who I was.  So I tried to fit in.  I tried to be the picture-perfect version everyone expected. But that only led me down a path of drinking, numbing, and losing myself.  Because when you suppress who you are, you end up disconnected from everything that makes you you. Once I found my confidence, I made a promise - to always show up as myself.  Yes, there’s a time and place for professionalism, but I’ll never shrink to make anyone comfortable again. Here’s the truth - when you’re around people who aren’t happy with themselves, they’ll try to bring you down too.  It’s like crabs in a bucket - the moment one starts to climb out, the others pull it back down. That’s why I always talk about your environment and the people you surround yourself with.  If you’re around the wrong energy, you’ll start thinking negative, behaving negative, and living negative. What some see as flaws, others see as fire.  So don’t dim your light to fit in - the world needs your energy, not a filtered version of it. Because the truth is - you’re doomed if you do, and doomed if you don’t.  So you might as well do whatever the fck you want, and be whoever the fck you are. 🔥 The right people will tag along. #fyp #freespirit #free #beyourself #selfgrowth
