@meresmortgage: 💀 Ever wondered what happens to your home when you pass away ? 🏡 If you have a mortgage, it stays with the house—and someone still must continue to pay, or the bank may foreclose and reclaim the property. 💰No Will - the court decides who inherits your home—a process known as probate, costing both money and time. 💵 Even with a will- it still goes through probate, following your wishes but requiring expenses and delays. ✅ Trust - you can bypass probate court entirely. Your property goes directly to your chosen heir, avoiding unnecessary complications and expenses. 🔒Follow for insights on protecting your home #mortgage #realestate #estateplanning

I’m in Indiana. Married. No mortgage but I am not on the deed. It’s only in husband’s name right now. Is it automatically mine ?

As someone who's going through this. It costing me $36,000 for probate court and lawyer fees. Spend the 2000 for a trust!
