My cat was from the distribution system too! Found her when I was 7 or 8 underneath a neighbor's car, sent out signs to find the owners, but nobody called so we kept her, and she's still kicking (1/2)

It took me so long into my life to realize that my family’s version of indoor/outdoor cat and other peoples was vastly different. Our cats have chips, collars, vaccines and they go out into our 8ft 🖤

this is happening to me rn my neighbors cat showed up at my door starving covered in fleas full of matts chunks of fur missing i thought he was a stray i fed him bathed him cleaned him up and the neighbors never call or look for him he's been with me for three weeks now- 😬

same! my cat had hook worms, a swollen shut eye, respiratory infection, and MORE. his owner wanted him back, I did. the cat came straight back to me and after I spent HUNDREDS he's def mine lol
