As a massage therapist I sent 5 people to the dermatologist 2 were cancerous and 1 was pre cancerous 🤷🏼♀️

I'm not supposed to do this as an esthetician but I tell people when I see what I know to be skin cancer and I tell them to go to a derm. People have come back and told me that I was right.

I learned as a teen that if a mole is: misshapen, bleeds or never heals, is diff shades, then it needs to be checked asap

my dad got a “cut” on his face a few years back and it never healed and would keep rebleeding, turns out he had skin cancer and had to get about a quarter size chunk of his check removed.
