venting is just to ease the symptoms. Imo, treating symptoms and treating root cause are both important. but I agree that theres trend that focusing on emotion and ignoring the systematic root cause.

It’s good to vent out loud to yourself. Listening you yourself can help see how you may be overreacting. Others tend valudaoour negative feelings & thoughts.
