A vet like you did a huge hip surgery on my cat 20 years ago and without him, we couldn’t have afforded the surgery. He even let us pay for 18 mos.

I work at an vet ER. I've had so many painfully sad calls with clients driving 1 1/2 hours to us because they weren't clients of the vet on call. In my opinion, you answer the call, you help them.
