Lowkey, my mom does this. When I learn or achieve something, she’ll say how she did it first, better, or my learning what somehow related to her efforts. SMH never just happy for me, always competing.

Also don't ask for advice if you don't want it. The amount of time somebody has asked if anyone knows how to do something, and I do so I offer to help, and then they get mad is insane
