@arthurgarros: I’ve had social anxiety since I can remember. Throughout this series I have willingly pushed myself into ‘hot water’ out of my comfort zone with the goal of normalising makeup for men. One thing I have personally gained from this has been an incredible amount of exposure therapy. The idea is you expose yourself to whatever it is you fear, and eventually your fear will reduce or go away, while developing new tools to be able to better face the fear. In a way I’m proving to my nervous system that 90% of the time nothing is going to happen. Highly recommend doing little things that scare you everyday, because nothing interesting happens in your comfort zone!
