@beckydintn: Dinner is in the Bag! (Another Meal in a Bag Idea!) This one is Thanksgiving dinner in a bag! Why a Meal in a Bag? It makes a great gift for someone going through a hard time and is wonderful for donating to food banks, blessing boxes, and free pantries. It's also a great way to keep a special meal organized for someone going through transitional housing, living in a dorm, or other temporary housing situation. You will need: 1 box Turkey Stuffing Mix 2 cans of turkey 1 packet of Pioneer: Biscuits, Gravies, Pancakes & More turkey gravy 1 packet of Idahoan Foods instant mashed potatoes 1 can of Glory Foods Seasoned green beans Total: $7.50! All of these items fit perfectly into a gallon-sized plastic bag! To prepare, drain turkey broth and set aside. Mix turkey meat with the gravy packet and 2 cups of water in a pan and heat until warmed through and thickened. Prepare the stuffing according to package directions, but replace the butter with the reserved turkey broth. Heat up your green beans and prepare mashed potatoes according to package instructions.
