Yup. Agree with multiple comments here. Had been an only real tree person for 38 years and found myself getting depressed at the thought of the mess - so we got a Balsam Hill tree and I’m so happy!!

pro tip...when you get a live tree, cut a little of the bottom off so that it can absorb water properly. The original cut will seal over so make a new one!

Got a tree day after thanksgiving same way we do every year. Go to a Christmas tree farm and get a Douglas firn. Our tree turned out beautiful this year.

tree stand. lay a bedsheet around the bottom evenly. tree in stand. skirt down for pretty. time to be done take the sheet wrap around tree haul out door💃boom less mess🙂

you are suppose to take a inch off the bottom after you get it. when it's original cut sap leaks to the bottom and seals it and it can intakewater

that's why you don't start putting up Christmas trees in November. They're really big fresh cut flowers. So don't expect more than a week maximum out of them.
