TikTok just flagged my AI-generated video as “unoriginal.” Let that sink in. I made this video using a full stack of AI tools Veo 3 for the visuals, Kling for the shots, Suno for the music, Imagen4 for characters, and ChatGPT to script and plan the whole thing. Every single part of it was made from scratch. I didn’t copy anyone. I didn’t remix a template. I actually built it. But apparently, the result looked so realistic that TikTok thought I just reposted someone else’s video without editing it. That’s literally what the notification said. At first, I was like… what? Three hours of work, and they think I stole it? Then I took a step back and realized this might actually be a weird kind of compliment. The algorithm couldn’t tell the difference. The AI tools I used made something so convincing, the platform assumed it had to be someone else’s content. That’s wild. But it also raises a real question. If TikTok can’t tell what’s original and what’s AI, what does that mean for creators? Are we going to need to prove our work is ours? Are AI videos going to need digital watermarks or certificates to count as original? Because the lines are getting blurry. Fast. The tools are here, they’re powerful, and if you’re using them right now, you already know. You can build full productions from your laptop. It’s not science fiction anymore. So here’s my question, has this happened to you? Has a platform flagged your original AI work like it was stolen? Because I’m really curious if this is common or if I just hit a weird edge case. If you wanna see the video that caused all this, the one that triggered the flag, it’s up now. You can check it out through my Pro Product checkout. Link is in my bio. This moment feels like a turning point. Like we’re crossing into a whole new era of what content even is. Let me know in the comments. I think we’re all figuring this out together. #AIContent #AITools #AIForRealLife #TikTokAI #CreativeWithAI #OriginalOrNot #MadeWithAI
