Brother, baptism is more than a symbol. Paul says that we are buried with Christ through baptism and rise with Him to new life (Rom. 6:4). It is an act of obedience and a spiritual reality that Jesus Himself commanded.

I've been to churches who don't believe that it's literal flesh and blood like the Catholics but they do believe that Jesus is present in the wine and bread, so it's not purely symbolic. Thoughts?

Hey man, thank you for your ministry!!! After leaving the Catholic Church, I have no desire to even practice this remembrance like this. For me, consuming Christ as bread is being in the Word, but brothers and sisters help me understand why I should partake in a tiny ritual like this as a non-denom follower. Thank you!🤍

I was always taught with the under standing that his flesh was the Bible and his blood was the spirit. And as a Christian you should consume both. What are your thoughts on that?
