Fill the pan with water and let it boil. Everything comes right off, like you’re deglazing the pan.

I’m surprised you don’t use barkeepers friend. I mix that with Dawn to create a paste and it’s very minimal scrubbing. Especially if I soak it first with water and bkf and soap

Look for the Brillo soft steel wool. They already have soap and you can remove this on the first try. Dollar tree has them.

A stainless steal scrubber works great and won’t damage it since they should be roughly the same tensile strength, about $1 each on Amazon.
