Widely different to a traditional Day-Date, the day aperture at the 12 o’clock position contains seven phrases, “Happy”, “Eternity”, “Gratitude”, “Peace”, “Faith”, “Love” and “Hope”, whilst the date aperture at the 3 o’clock position has 31 different emojis in place of the date. As well as these two quirky features, the dial itself is a mesmerising piece of art. Entirely crafted through champlevé enamelling, the depth and detail of the dial is truly breathtaking. Turquoise blue, red, fuchsia, orange, green, and yellow jigsaw pieces fit together to make for an incredibly lively dial. Topped off with 10 baguette-cut sapphires in six different hues set according to the main colour of the dial, which in this rose gold variant is orange, the craftsmanship is exceptional.
