Story of my life. I got caught up for organized retail theft for this. Made a lot! Of money. Doing this…until my fence turned out to be a cop, paid me over 15k in 2months. Cash. Got 11 felonies for it. Plead down from 38. Did my little 60 months on a DOSA program w 600$ restituition. I just got 10 years clean and sober last October

a guy i worked with a a blue colored home improvement store would slap clearance stickers on items and buy them only to return them woth the sticker off and get full price in gift cards...⬇️

I worked in JCPenney I used to charge people cash for expensive items, they would say oh I’m paying with a card. I’ll void the transaction keep the cash receipt, I never got caught 3 years
