I disagree. College is a necessity for many to attain living wage jobs. I want my children to start their live without being thousands in debt. Depending on the degree they cannot work full time.

Both of my children want to go into a trade that requires at least a 6 month course. I will happily pay for it. Also, if they need to stay home while getting on their feet.. so be it!

If you are still claiming them on your taxes I do think you are obligated and owe them. Because your income will prevent them from getting full financial aid
