I look after two vulnerable adults who are my siblings, both my parents died in the last four years two years ago just over? I’ve given up everything moved in and now looking after them both full-time it’s my pleasure to do it but my health is failing. no family help I’ve just got to get on with it. It’s a shame this young person has been subjected to this sort of treatment. I’m shocked and disappointed and worried that nobody will look after them like I do 🥺 it seems you just don’t count when you are different

Under the Care Act, capacity is assumed and it is the burden of the organisation, not the person, to prove otherwise. Mum needed to request a needs assessment, and request a care act advocate.

I’m no way shape or form would I allow my abusive mother to have anything to do with my life ! She pretended well to social workers throughout my childhood , I’ll not allow this into my adulthood
