Fun fact! By the wind sailors can be right or left “handed” based on the direction their sail points. It’s an adaptation so that entire colonies don’t get killed by winds or tides all at once

Saw a whole bunch of them at point Reyes yesterday all up and down the beach they were already disintegrated on the upper beach and the ones by the shore were still fresh
