People don’t realize that ice kind is human. His crown keeps him alive with the price being his sanity. His mental health significantly declined after he lost Betty and then it got worse when he lost Marcelino. He kidnaps princesses because he wants to feel something, he wants to feel loved. It doesn’t make it any better that the reason he had a liking for princess bubblegum was connected to her similarities to Betty. He is not talked about enough. I just need people to understand that Simon is a human, and Ice King is not mentally stable nor well.
