@hannahsl0an: it’s days like these where i am desperate for some sort of adhd diagnosis cause if i don’t have it then i don’t know what’s wrong with me. i have a lot of other symptoms but the ones that make me feel stupid or careless are really difficult to cope with #adhd #adhdtiktok #adhdinwomen

this is me 90% of the time, then I cry, spiral & usually end up spending a ton of money to get adopamine rush & the cycle continues. I've suspected I've had ADHD for a while, but I don't know how to

Girl, there is nothing more adhd coded than “I made a short film” right in the middle of you describing all of these struggles.

It’s all so frustrating. It really is apparently easy for some people but for some of us it’s a lot of work. You’re not alone!

As soon as you said “forgetting to drop the surveys back off”, it was a wrap 🤣from an ADHD girlie who wasn’t diagnosed until after college, getting on medication was life changing.

Sounds like adhd. I got late diagnosed in my 30s 🥲 medication helped so much. My mind got quiet, I wasn’t anxious, I didn’t have to convince myself so hard to do the basic things.

Girl I had to have them resend me the surveys 3 times in a span of 3 years. I was like is the test that I never actually send it in?? 35 and I have ADHD. To me it sounds like you have the symptoms.

As someone with adhd- yes . I do shit like this all the time. But I will tell you , knowing doesn’t guarantee anyone else will be more understanding. Meds help a lot but they don’t cure it all.

this happened to me and I later found out that I didn’t have ADHD. I just had post concussion syndrome that was undiagnosed for almost 2 years. it took another year of therapy, physical and emotional/mental to actually recover from the symptoms. If you’ve ever had a concussion-even years ago, it could be worth checking out!!

ooof, as. late diagnosised ADHDer this was painful, this is exactly how I felt before the official diagnosis. The self gaslighting, no one else believing you that its not on purpose.✨

I feel this soooo sincerely. I’m sorry you’re dealing with the realization of it all… it really is pretty disruptive and the self gaslighting is just a cherry on top

Girl I feel for you, this is me. Just got diagnosed last year, got prescribed Wellbutrin. Has helped so much with the negative talk and anxiety. It’s not a cure but it’s helped

I wish I could give you the biggest hug and tell you that you’re not crazy, it’s not your fault, you care about things, you’re not being thoughtless, I see you and know how this feels

Girlie pop! Even if you never get a formal diagnosis, you are ALWAYS welcome to use the resources (with the exception of meds) that are out there. And as a fellow late diagnosed ADHD lady, you aren’t.

I have to make alarms for everything and put things on top of my purse or leave them in my car in order to remember them. 😭 I’m 38 and it frustrates my mom that I will forget something in 25 seconds.

Started joking to my partner I had autism. after some time, I told him I’m on a waitlist to get evaluated. It was honestly a great way to break down the stigma and educate him. Now 32 and diagnosed

I’m so sorry you’re going through this :( if it helps, I’ve been diagnosed for a long time and the number 1 symptom when I was younger was that I used to lose everything.. and I mean everything!

I have ADHD and this all sounds very very familiar!! Meds do help me, but they unfortunately don’t help the shame and the way others perceive us as “lazy.” The shame is the worst!
