I’m not saying don’t get a DPK (I have one installed) BUT saying it WILL happen is a fallacy. The failure rate of CP4s in ford diesels is about 6%. (Obviously should be zero)

Cp4 will fail and still leave you stranded with the disaster kit on the truck the dcr pump is the way to go and the only way to truly save your fuel system and from being stranded from a cp4 failure
