@mxchievous: Fresh Dog!! Presenting my real-life mechanical Wobbledog made from materials found from around the house! Made for the Just contest for making a Wobbledog in real life using whatever you want! The core of the dog is made from an upcycled mechanical walking dog toy that I had laying around in the closet. I had already stripped the toy down to the plastic so it was ready to go. The original toy had a squeaker in it so it would occasionally "bark", I wanted to keep the mechanism for it but the way the toy was shaped didn't fit the shape I wanted for the final product, so I ended up scrapping it, along with hiding the tail wagging mechanic since I wanted to use the default dog design, now it's only able to just walk forward and backward. A small sacrifice to make for an accurate-looking dog. Then it was simple enough to add foam board to the body for that boxy shape, adding felt and sculpting and painting modeling foam feet and a head. Overall this project didn't really take too long, lasting a couple days with breaks in between. I found out about the contest when it only had more than a week left and wanted to participate so it was kind of a last-minute effort. If you've read this far, thank you for listening to me ramble and I wish good luck to all the other participants of the contest :D 🐛 @Just @Secret Mode #Just #wobbledogs #upcycling
