My weird response: I caught someone stealing my bosses car and decided it would be a good idea to try and stop him by grabbing the car door handle and getting dragged across a parking lot. I ended up letting go eventually. But what would I have done? Pull him out of a moving car? 🤦🏻♀️wasn’t even my car 🤭

At age 14 I had a 32yr old stalker living in his car for 2 weeks-he would sit parked on the street where my bedroom window faced the side he parked on. For 2 weeks. Parents called our small town PD & they came out to scold me because i never told him I wasn’t interested & led him on & to stop portraying myself as an adult online.”

When I was younger (about 10/11) and my brother and I shared the same room. Something woke me and I saw a man at our window w/blk globes trying to remove the screen. I FROZE! Couldn’t move, couldn’t scream. My front door opened and he heard and left!

while I was up in clemson for college I started feeling hyper paranoid, feeling watched and followed but told myself I was just anxious. eventually one day I was walking to my apartment i noticed someone standing outside my door in a raincoat on a sunny day. I told myself it was probably a friend too but when he saw me coming toward my apartment he headed into the woods across from my apartment where a tent was. it clicked that every morning when I was sitting at the bus stop half asleep, he was there in those woods watching. I was terrified and got a ring door bell camera but the one day it died and I brought it inside to charge, I came home and couldn't find my purse where I left it until i found it on my kitchen table with my old ID and my new one side by side. I spent the rest of the year terrified, barely able to sleep in my own room since my bed was directly beneath a window and I feared he would come back or maybe he was there the whole time

Cops did the same thing to me. I asked a new guy friend of mine to come sweep my house every day, before I felt safe going inside. A year and a half into this, I found out it was him all along!

So glad you are okay. Cops are so useless. At best when I needed help from cops in a similar situation they just acted clueless? A stalker I had a temporary RO on sent a 45 min audio via Google drive of him giving a lecture on DV and pews. I called to report it as a clear violation of the RO which was supposed to mean an immediate arrest! The cop told me to change my email. Like he knows where I LIVE? And when I pushed they asked me how they were supposed to arrest him when he wasn’t in the town. Gee whiz I don’t know, maybe call the cops where he is and tell THEM to arrest him? They acted like I wrote the RO.

I woke up to a man standing over my bed in the middle of the night when I was 22, living alone. The first thing police said to me when they got there “Why are you living here? Don’t you know this is a rough neighbourhood? You can’t live here and expect things like this not to happen” I was struggling financially, on the brink of homelessness and couldn’t afford a nicer neighbourhood so that’s my fault I guess🤷🏼♀️
