Two months in and here’s what a realistic morning looks like with NO SCREENS and our 4 boys… and honestly, I would have called you a liar if you had told me this is what it’d be like 2 months ago before cutting out screens 🤯😳 And for any parent on the fence about cutting screens please just know we were scared and thought there was zero chance we’d last this long because honestly we’d been so reliant on them for so long. If you don’t end baking cookies with toddlers on the verge of a mental breakdown did you even really bake?🤯👨🏼‍🍳🍪 P.S. our boys actually like (and eat) these healthy cookies so long as we don’t tell them they are healthy cookies 🤣🤦 So warning, don’t make the same mistake I did and tell your kids you are making healthy cookies 🤣🤪 Full recipe is linked in bio so you can tru them!🍪 Brodie and I are TRYING our best to swap out ultra processed snacks and instead give our boys healthier alternatives like these healthy cookies versus store bought cookies. It’s definitely a work in progress and we are by no means perfect but since this video (over a year ago we filmed this recipe) we are getting to a better place! As always parenting is a journey and our attitude is survive one day at a time and when possible try to make little improvements along the way as you learn.
