about halfway through Naomi Novik’s A Deadly Education. i hope to get it finished by Friday. so far, i’m enjoying it but the explanation of the magic system is pretty dense. still its maintaining a solid 4 out of 5 for me.

Yeah the bake off in Veiled Throne does drag a bit. Speaking Bones is an epic finale though. I'm currently on a re-read of Crime and Punishment - actually enjoying it when I can wrap my head around it.
