if you love rimworld you should try Norland. it's medieval with a similar art style and has some interesting interactions from nectar addicts ruining your town to your citizens fighting each other because they don't worship the same God, it is pretty awesome. early access though so it's bound to change

My hot take with rimworld is that it’s borderline unplayable without mods. Esp before DLCs were released, it was so buns. Like yeah bro lemme j make my murder maze with traps and put 6 of my colonists near the exit with chain shotguns
