When I read this chapter it made me happy because kizaru has always sat by and been a cog in the machine. He didn’t want to kill Vegapunk but it didn’t matter because it was his mission. We finnaly get to see a moment of kizaru actually feeling something and somewhat objecting the machine he is a part of. It may be small but it’s good for him

Man... I feel for the Marines, hear me out. A lot of them want to do what's right. Yea some of them see the TRUE evil of the world, some want change from that, some don't, some are stuck in the middle of throwing their entire lives away to make the immediate change or stick with the grind of doing it from the inside. Partly why I love the idea of Sword so much. I think Borsalino would've made a great addition to Sword, since we aren't sure what's up with Kuzan, and we DO know what's up with Sakazuki. Just makes you wonder ya know? Where will our light man end up after this? I can say one thing, that food got to Luffy with a quickness that fooled everyone, even an Elder, and we know one thing Luffy NEVER forgets those who feed him. Here's to hoping Borsalino gets some redemption in the future. 😎

i believe that akainu WILL receive his redemption arc. u see, he lived his life thinking the marines are in justice whilst pirates r bad(prolly cuz of influence or self experience) we literally see him being wary of the goroseis since he knows for a fact they arent good people.
