that's actually false. yes under eating CAN slow weight loss but you will still lose weight if youre eating under ur maintenence calories. however overeating will NEVER result in weight loss. so its not possible for under eating to slow weight loss more than overeating

honestly this is not said enough. I was the leanest I ever was when I was eating almost 2000 calories a day and working out consistently. I was always skinny-fat when I under ate. it never looked right

Okay, I get the message you’re trying to send and it’s good, but there’s no need to be inaccurate: undereating can slow down weight loss due to metabolic adaptation, but it doesn’t slow it down more than overeating does. You still lose weight in a calorie deficit, just sometimes more slowly if it’s too extreme.

no no it’s not like this at all it’s all about calories in and out but yes under eating 90% of the time will result in binges due to extreme hunger and your progress will be set back unless you have really really really good self control
