Got called off the first four hours of a bonus shift, then got pulled to the ER (I work inpatient), and then got double pulled at 3pm to an inpatient unit that’s not my home unit 🥴

Last time I got put on call, I was on my way to work.. and then didn’t even make it home before they called me back.. It was 8 minutes between phone calls 😂

I’ll never forget the main nurse who helped my wife through delivery. She also knew I needed clear direction and told me exactly what my wife needed so I didn’t feel useless.
