op already said so, but pls do your analysis before starting birth control (even without prescription) !! i discovered through analysis i have a blood mutation that makes birth control extremely harmful and possibly fatal for me, if i didn't know imagine what could've happened !!

21 days pills are available without prescription (like Mercilon), some 28 days (like Yaz or Yasmine) need a prescription and mini pills (progesterone only pills) are not available in Korea. Also emergency pills (사후 피임약) require a prescription in Korea. Leave it as reference for people who might need it 😊

Always talk to a gyno before starting or changing medications🥰 but over-the-counter, no prescription needed birth control is certainly convenient

I mean you have to be prescribed to get a birth control medicine in Korea. It’s a rule since 2012. Only except some medicine like 머시론 you can get it without prescription. So I recommend ladies to go to doctor to check with it first ✨
