For the people saying that Sally Bowle’s character is not supposed to be a good singer - were Patti Lupone’s characters supposed to be? She just belted out and the audience enjoyed it cause those were amazing performances. Singing in “Cats” was impeccable & cats don’t sing. It’s Broadway. Even her singing here lacks soul. Best rendition of this song is by Minnelli hands down.
