sigmund freud proposed 3 fundamental frustrations of humanity: (kopernikus) our world/earth is not the centre of the universe. (darwin) man is not some kind of special (divine, selected) being, he is part of a spectrum in nature. (freud) man ist not in control of his psyche. in today’s world we have reached a forth frustration: we are not the top of intelligence. i guess every time when one of those frustration became historically manifest, one same thing happened: huge parts of humanity started panicking that we are at some kind of endpoint for our species or at the end of the world. we should do research on those doomsday minds.
