My grandmother is 101 and still drives (and lives by herself) she is amazing and so with it but i don’t believe that anyone over 90 should be driving at all.

I was at the DMV a few months ago and this 91 yr old lady just renewed her license- she went to leave and had to come in and ask them to help her find her car. It was actually insane

I was at the DMV with my teenage son getting his permit. The office was filled with seniors who couldn’t see well enough to pass their exam so they all yelled at the DMV staffer until they were allowed to renew their license. It was TERRIFYING!

Fun fact, this isn’t real. It got picked up by a couple not reputable news sources, and then circulated heavily on social media, but there are no new US dept of transportation driving regulations for seniors.

My husbands grandpa literally has a false eye and is nearly blind in the other and still drives. He TRICKED the eye exam giving lady. They need those newer things like they use for kids who can’t read that can just tell.

I have epilepsy and can’t drive for 6 months after a seizure and fill out a bunch of paperwork when i renew my license. It’s a pain but i get why i have to do it and there’s no reason why old people shouldn’t have to go through this too

When my grandmother was going blind from cataracts (and failed the eye test) & my grandfather had dementia, in their late 80s, the state of Delaware renewed their drivers licenses for 8 YEARS! 😝🤦🏻♀️
