Everyone thinks they fall in love with a person. Most of the time they’re falling for potential & the version of someone they build in their own head. You gotta stop falling for who they could’ve been in hopes they complete your fantasy. Your energy & imagination is powerful but it can be a projection disguised as hope. You get a glimpse of your lifestyle together, how soft or ambitious they can be, whatever pain or promise so you start writing your own Disney movie & story for yourself. Believing your love can finish writing them in the way you envision. But you shouldn’t have to TRY harder when you’re incompatible in hopes they change. That plain reality is always sobering. When you sober up, you feel the “disappointment.” They never put in the work or aren’t living up to my standards. But I don’t think it’s a disappointment because you gain clarity in the life you want & the capacity someone ACTUALLY has. You shouldn’t have to fix anyone who doesn’t want help or has no drive to evolve. You gotta accept who they are NOW as their action, habits & routines are indicators of their future & the love they can provide. Move on & not…you can only love someone so much into them becoming who you envision. At some point you realize you aren’t waiting for them anymore but rather waiting for yourself to stop trying to save people just to feel worthy of the relationship you desire & love you want to manifest. You should remind yourself that every person you meet should NOT make you complete, but instead reflect/compliment the capacity of love you ALREADY have and life you are already building. ♾️ @shvkti My skits are full created by me: Written, Acted, Gaffed/Gripped, DP’d , Directed, Costume Styled, Sound, Edited, Colored: me ✨ Song: Billie Eilish - when the party’s over #cinematography #acting #screenwriting #thrivinginchaos #filmmaking
