this looks like folliculitis, not swimmers itch. if you were in a warm pond, you need an antibiotic that will cover pseudomonas

I have a sunscreen allergy and I had a delayed reaction exactly like this to banana boat. The tiny blisters. Everything. I have to use mineral sunscreen.

It looks like a chemical reaction or sunscreen allergy, I had to switch to all mineral sunscreens only, started to get weird rashes that looked similar & putting chemical sunscreen on my skin, I could TASTE it in my mouth! It would make me feel dizzy, nauseous… I have no idea what caused the weird reactions but even neutrogena which is gentle, would cause it. I’m using mineral sunscreens now only - and some good tinted mineral sunscreens they don’t make your face have a white cast like they did years ago, some of the Korean mineral sunscreens are the best.
