: You are totally misinformed about the Great Wall of China. Great Walls aim was to slow down the nomadic invasion. So if you go to far out west it’s only high as to prevent nomadic sheep jumping over it. During when Chinese dynasties were powerful nomads could not breech it. When Chineese dynasties were weak yes they breached them. But some parts of wall like shanhaiguan to the east was never breached by invaders.
