@redamberrun: Summer running is a toughy, and as much as I prefer to run in cooler temps sometimes we have to adapt to our environment! Top 3 Tips for running in hot weather: 💦 Hydrate - before, during, after. it's not about just taking a bottle on your run, you have to make sure that your body is well hydrated before you even set out. I'll start upping my water & electrolyte intake at least 24 hours before a run, take a plain water & electrolytes during my run, and keep that up for the next 24 hours after. You'll run better and prevent heatstroke! 🌅 Try to get out as early or as late in the day as you can - no midday running here! Make the most of the cooler earlier temperatures and remember that the shade is your friend 🎽 Wear loose, sweat wicking materials to help keep you cool. Performance vests, shorts and preferably a cap to keep the sun out of your face. (bonus - i get missy off mine from Vinted!)
