For all the people who aren’t from the hill country in Texas, this is very common in Texas , I grew up in the hill country , but this is the worst flood I’ve seen since I’ve lived here and the fastest flash flood I’ve seen. We get them every year all the time in the hill country

Search being why is Texas flooding when we’ve had more rain in the past two weeks then we’ve had in the past two years I’m in West Texas, where we never get storms, but everybody has been on high alert. We’re not even near rivers, we’ve had multiple advisories……… but people are blaming politics. This world is cooked.

Yes, flash flood warnings were issued in Texas, including for parts of North Texas on Sunday, July 4th and for Kerrville and surrounding areas as early as Thursday, July 3. The warnings were part of a series of alerts, including a flood watch and a flash flood emergency, issued by the National Weather Service!

For people blaming Trump for this….the river raised 26 feet in less than an hour. This isn’t a Trump thing, this was a God thing. You can only prepare so much for a tragic FAST event like this

I’ve been at Garner State Park more than a few times when flash floods happened. One night they woke us up at 2am and said we had 30 minutes to get our stuff packed up and out.
