We are a donor state, meaning we give more than we receive from the feds. All donor states need to withhold funds (federal taxes) and use them within our communities to meet our needs. If the federal government wants to give it to billionaires and corrupt policies we need to take a stand. Call Ferguson tomorrow!

All I hear here is raise taxes. I can barely afford my property taxes in Seattle. We just raised a record amount of taxes. I am so sorry but we need to live within our means. I don't know how this chat affords their bills unless I am the only poor person here

Why are all of you purposely omitting that you can keep your Medicaid if you’re able bodied if you work 20 hours a WEEK. If you can’t work 20 hours a week IM not paying for YOUR healthcare.

I'm unemployed and on Medicaid in WA. This year I started going to the dentist. I hadn't been in years since my parents rarely took me. Everyone was so nice and the stress of having bad teeth is finally gone. The wisdom teeth surgery I'm going in for soon is almost entirely covered by insurance, which would've been a huge burden on my family. To think that if I had waited just a year or a couple months more, I might have never gotten that help. I'm lucky that's all I needed, this will hurt so many people whose life depends on Medicaid.
