It’s so different for everyone- I found the first few weeks the HARDEST but then after a couple of months I found my groove and so did my baby. You’re totally right to say to any new mum- time will pass, whatever period your finding tough, things will move on and you will find a way to cope ❤️

I found that weeks 2-3 were the worst, my baby also has colic and I really was not well mentally nor physically and I felt so ashamed to say I wasn’t enjoying it. Thankfully the worst stage passed and I can now say that I love motherhood ❤️

I saw a poster in my hospital saying babies find their cry around 2-3 weeks old🤧🤧🤧that’s why the baby bubble is bliss at first hahahaah

the first few weeks are the easiest, then it gets not difficult at around 6-12 weeks, then easier again, then found it gets harder at around 18 months, and then easier again closer to 2.5 years 🤣

Wow this!!!! Currently nap trapped as my nearly 4 week old will NOT be put down. He’s a different baby to even a couple of weeks ago.

SAY IT LOUDER I’m finding this out in real time after seeing videos about the newborn trenches and how hard the first two weeks are… I was like wow I have the easiest baby in the world 🤣 I have been more humbled with each passing day x

Thank you!! I needed to hear this😭 my boy has been since sooo unsettled since Monday & I thought I was going to loose my mind after 3 days of fussyness, he’s definitely woken up..doesn’t like being changed, tummy ache/trapped wind, experiencing the witching hour. Learning it’s all completely normal but I thought something was wrong with him & kept coming on tiktok to try and find answers 🤦🏻♀️

THIS 👏🏻 Weeks 1/2/3 were a breeeze, dad was still home and we had a sleepy boy! Weeks 4/5/6/7 were traumatic 😭 he’s now 10 weeks old and we’re definitely on the other side! I had a fair few wobbles in those tough weeks and I wish I’d have been a bit more prepped and knew more about having a newborn 😩
