People usually don’t have pre-made buttons on them, but a lot of people do trinket trades if you’re carrying something small to give away too!

how would you realistically expect a man in a button down shirt to give you a button? is he meant to cut off the button from his shirt, or take off the shirt and give you the extra button that may or may not be there? i understand your idea, i'm just not sure where the buttons are supposed to be coming from.

Idea: you have another person going around giving out buttons in an unrelated fashion. Time passes, people forget they've been given a button, then they see you! Set up and payoff achieved.
