![[ #DOOMSEKKAR + #GHOSDEERI + #DUSEKKAR ] #phighting — gonna js post this before i get jumpscared by a tag limit or smth… so! … in her last waking moments of freedom, she thought of them. her siblings, i mean. to quote myself, “look, if people didnt want me to make angst, they shouldn’t have let me listen to alex g”. also, i think this video marks the 3rd alex g song i have made an edit to on this account. and two of them are of doomsekkar! congrats! SO. i have… ANOTHER potentially horrendous take on doomsekkar’s sealing. yeah, so. yk how ghostwalker is canonically the inpherno’s equivalent of the grim reaper…? (last i checked, anyhow…) basically, ghostwalker (in this theory/hc) straight up killed her (doomsekkar) and put her in limbo. … depending on how his whole thing about being ghost themed is like, it’s totally plausible for him to have contained doom’s soul or whatever in some afterlife-like area. this is partially my explanation for why doomsekkar’s boss arena resembles a roblox spawn symbol. she’s kept in ‘limbo’ where she can’t respawn. the word “freedom” has many meanings… and death is a form of ‘freedom’. honestly, the idea that gw killed doomsekkar makes their whole “oh sweet freedom”, “did the air always feel this cold?”, “you won’t keep me here any longer” and other voicelines kind of (a lot more) depressing. . . anyway, you know how in one of my other captions, i was crashing out about how the thing used to contain doomsekkar was HER colour, and not ghostwalker’s? well, there’s actually the possibility it was actually ILLUMINA’S power, and not her’s, or ghostwalker’s. “but, how, seo?”, i hear you asking. well… i’m delusional, and am a master of bs’ing in order to make a narrative work for me. so! illumina’s accent/magic colour is purple. if you squint at the ‘halo’ around his horn in his in-game model, it’s actually glowing a slightly darker pink-purple than the usual lavender colour keyed to the rest of his outfit. however, in-game, doomsekkar’s accent colour is a more reddish-magenta than a pinky-purply one (which is the one i use to accent her design in most of my art). when you load in the bossfight, the chains are VERY noticeably (or very unnoticeably…) a more purply magenta than the reddish-magenta used in doomsekkar’s attacks (especially the ones where you gotta break the orbs). since i’m delusional, allow me to build off of the narrative i started in my last video: illumina persuades ghostwalker to do something about the watcher causing the slow, painful deaths of hundreds, and comes with him to make sure he actually does what illumina needs him to do. not that he doesn’t trust ghostwalker– he definitely does; he just wants to make sure that the threat is appropriately neutralised. so, ghostwalker ‘puts her to rest’, trapping her consciousness and ensuring she can’t ‘awaken’. illumina uses a bit of his own magic to reinforce this containment. bam! doomsekkar is sealed away. yikes! . . anyhow… i know i mentioned before in my watchers video that doomsekkar was influenced by darkheart (temperament, designwise) but… when i compare her concept art’s horn to illumina’s horn… they’re REALLY similar. like.
