@saltyoccasionallysweet: Replying to @tiffany #greenscreen I’ve noticed the people saying it isn’t hard are people with everyday help and support of the other parent…people aren’t saying it’s hard because the work is hard, they’re saying it’s hard because of different circumstances. You’re privileged to have every day support and enough money to live a lavish lifestyle. Take those two things away and it is hard on certain people and they’re valid in feeling that way. The work itself isn’t hard. No one is saying housework is hard, no one is saying cooking is hard…they’re saying it’s hard because of their circumstances. I’m over the moon happy for you that it’s easy given all your money and support. Without that…you would agree it’s hard. @tiffany #SAHM #privilege

Motherhood’s Beautiful Chaos :
She told me my life as a sahm to a child with a disability isn’t hard when I said it was. She said I wasn’t doing enough to make it easy. She also said she knew exactly what I was going though because her boyfriend in high school had a brother with Down syndrome. Like what?!?

Making friends as an adult isn't easy. Like at all.

I just recently went back to work, and i gotta say I really miss being a sahm. for ME, it was easy. I love cooking and cleaning. I love hanging out with my kids and playing in the yard and stuff. but I'd never tell another sahp that they are doing it wrong or should feel the same way I do! people can struggle where others don't, thats what happens when you're human

Taking care of them is simple… raising them is hard. Especially for us who have never had an example of what a good parent is like.

The “make friends” gets a major eye roll from me. I have 2 kids (almost 3) it is so hard to meet people with 1 kid the same age- let alone multiple. So either the older kid is bored being with babies, or the younger is left out while bigger kids play.

People like that forget that as good as they have it now, life can change in a second and they can go to not having anything. I don’t understand how they can do that. Nothing is ever guaranteed.

Parenting is hard for the ones who actually care. The ones who are trying to teach our babies to be decent human beings. The ones who are tired at the end of the day because we taught and played and cleaned with them. Parenting however, isn’t hard for parents who aren’t involved. Who don’t interact with their children throughout the day. Saying being a sahp is hard isn’t diminishing how hard it is to be a working parent. Being a parent is hard, if you’re trying your hardest to do it right.

I moved back to Puerto Rico almost 5 years ago… I have a lot of acquaintances but no friends… I have put myself out there. I have gone to school, I have tried to connect with my son’s classmates’ moms, I’ve even found work… and no one sticks… 🤷🏽‍♀️it’s hard making friends when the people you meet, already have their friend groups. So… 😅

Yeah I can’t stand her. She’s giving, let me get pregnant and have 100 kids because that’s the only time my husband gives me attention. “SAHM CEO” what is that woman in change of? Her freedom is at the whim of her husband

Everyone’s experience is different. However, those saying it’s easy… well, good for you, truly! I started off as a single mom on welfare, and now have an amazing job where I make over $100k. 100% wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this w/o the help of my parents.

The isolation is so hard. After almost 3 years of staying home I’m going back to work for 6 hours m-f at a school. The deep depression that I got into after having my second was horrible. And I just can’t take the isolation anymore. My husband works nights and we don’t have enough money to go out because it all goes to bills. Our kids are 2 and 3 and I’m just proud that I was able to be with my kids for that long and that we were able to make it work financially

It is isolating! Trying having a different needs child or neurodivergent child. I had friends & still do but we have different children at ages where kids have an opinion. I also have to do everything except mow the lawn! that’s only because there’s absolutely no time & mowing is something that could be delegated out. Other things can’t.

HAHAHAHA I will always thoroughly enjoy these against her and the funniest thing about it is she can’t see HALF of these comments because they’ve all blocked her 🤣🤣🤣 she says “content creator” like she’s big fish when she averages less than 1000 views per vid with a petty 30k something followers like???? Hahahah she’s been on my page too sis, it’s so entertaining to think she really believes she hurts our feelings when really everyone hates her and she knows that

I was a SAHM for 3-4 months a year for my son's entire childhood prior to iPads. I was a working mom the other months. Working mom was way more difficult. I was a single mom.

It's definitely not easy. For me, it's much easier than working outside the home. I feel more focused. I can adapt the day according to our needs, etc. I also think that people have to check their expectations. Being a SAHM doesn't look like a perfect Instagram worthy life. You make some REALLY good points though about having a good support system. 🥰
