@adisabledicon: Replying to @Livlovestothrift does an intrathecal pain pump make me feel high? The answer is no, but I do have a really high tolerance due to being on these pain treatments for 20+ years, so def ask an interventional pain management doctor to see how it'll affect you ♥️

Different medication but I have a baclofen pump and I don’t feel any side effects from mine. Maybe a little sleepy after a dose increase but that doesn’t last long! Glad you’re pump is working for you

These catheters provide amazing pain relief. It’s getting your insurance to cooperate. That’s the problem. Anyway the reason you don’t feel any of the effects in your brain is because that medication does not cross the blood brain barrier like it would if you were to take it orally or through an IV. Only your body feels it and that is the marvelous trick of this pain management device.
